Finding Nemo

We just had one diver today, but started to head out, and the dogs insisted on following the boat.  I am sure that you have heard the dogs absolutely love the boat, and love diving.  They will follow us to the boats each morning in hopes of getting on the boat.  Today they got to follow, and enjoyed visiting two different islands as we went diving.  When we get close to an island, the dogs actually leap off the boat in excitement, and will swim to the island instead of waiting on the boat to take them there.

Today after the second dive, we were going to stop by fatboys, but they have some dogs ours don't get along with.  They were happily playing and hunting on Kennedy Islands (where JFK was marooned), so we left them and headed to fatboys.  About 45 minutes later we headed back to pick up the dogs, they were no where to be found!  I called and whistled for them, just waiting to see them running down the beach to me, but they never came.  I was distraught so got in the boat and drove to the next closest island, and jumped off in search, while I sent our boat on to check the smaller islands.  It returned with no dogs.  I got on the radio to fatboys to have them organize our other boats to come out, and we headed there to drop me off to coordinate other boats to find our puppies!

As we pulled into fatboys we saw two shadows dashing down the beach of the island (Mbanga Island) it was my Nemo!  I was so excited i dove in the water and they swam out to meet me!  So happy to have a happy ending but scared for 30 min that I lost the dogs, and they had drowned swimming.  They swam over 1.5 KM's today to that other island, quite a feet for a dog I reckon.  We have been spoiling them since with bananas and biscuits to fill them back up!  I can't believe they still have the energy to run around!
