Gizo, Another Week, Another Island

So I am now in the Island of Gizo. It is still wonderful. Each day
is busy but fun. It starts with breakfast of toast at about 7am, then
a 1.5 mile walk down the hillside to the water, where we hop in a dive
boat and do a dive. It is mostly wall drift dives.

We have done a few wrecks, 1 a 400 ft. Japanese transport sunk by US
Airman in WWII, that lies at about 120ft. It has tanks and lots of
cargo still. We have also been on US Hellcat fighter plane that was
awesome.

After our first dive, we head to an Island for lunch, it is usually
fish, which I eat now! Mainly because I have too, we usually have it
for lunch and dinner. Today we had lunch on the island JFK was
stranded on after PT 109 was run over/sunk.

After lunch we head in the water for another dive, and then a march up
the hill to our house. Everything is wonderful. Things I miss are
only fast food, I would love a hamburger! But I don't miss it too
much, when I look around at how beautiful it is, and how nice the
people are.

I haven't been on a computer much, mainly due to a strike at the only
communications company in the Solomons. I am headed to Nadi Fiji on
Tuesday. I have left my dive computer on US time and find it
entertaining that while I am diving you all are going to bed on the
previous day!
